May 27 2021, Palo Alto, CA / Salt Lake City, UT – The Founder Institute’s VC Lab is proud to announce a global partnership with Assure, the Special Purpose Vehicle (SPV) specialist and leading provider of outsourced administrative and transaction services for the private investment marketplace. Assure’s mission to nearly eliminate the structuring and administration expense of investing in private assets aligns with VC Lab’s dedication to help emerging fund managers launch impactful venture capital firms all over the world.
The goal of the partnership is to reduce the barriers for emerging fund managers to access world-class talent and resources to support the launch of their funds, while creating global standards and best practices for the VC Industry when it comes to SPV formation.
As part of this partnership, all VC Lab participants will receive curated discounts on SPV formation services through Assure, and VC Lab will help fast track Assure’s client base into the program to help launch their new funds with VC Lab’s support. Assure’s deep bench of experts will work with emerging managers from the VC Lab program to help them with their SPV strategy, including fund formation, back office, and compliance management.

The Founder Institute’s VC Lab helped launch 40+ VC firms in 2020, with an average fund size of $15mm, and is working to launch 150+ VC firms in 2021. VC Lab’s vision is to create 1,000 new venture capital firms by 2025 to support companies worldwide that are working to make an impact. VC Lab is a free virtual program that helps new managers to launch accelerators, pre-seed, seed or Series A venture capital firms globally.
